Provide pre and post-sales support and project management for assigned markets and specific accounts within an international regional territory. Work with the sales reps, office administrators, operations personnel, dealers (distributors and resellers included) and customers to coordinate logistics for large, strategic installation projects. Support additional sales activities account management operations in order to provide customer with up-to-date information and immediate response.

 

Responsibilities

Essential duties include the following (other duties may be assigned to meet business needs).

  • Coordinate for large, strategic installation projects and orders, acting as liaison between the customer, dealer, sales, administrators, installers and operations personnel
  • Assure special orders, special pricing, inventory verification and other important project details are completed as orders are booked, progressed, shipped and installed
  • Distribute regular updates to customer, dealer, sales, administrators and operations personnel to maintain project deadlines and budgets
  • Schedule 3rd Party Installers through work order process for installation/warranty/replacement of any Humanscale products on projects
  • Work in scheduling on lead times, back-orders and reschedule missed orders
  • Coordinate with customer, sales rep and factory to facilitate the returns of products
  • Completion of sales order paperwork, installation assistance and general customer service
  • Initiate sample & mockup orders
  • Strong understanding of all of Humanscale products, including Healthcare products, task seating, keyboard support, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, CPU holders and other ergonomic work tools
  • Order entry processing, new orders, samples
  • Perform with a high level of accuracy and productivity without sacrificing quality
  • Manage time, workflow, and priorities to accomplish goals
  • Adhere to and have complete understanding for all company policies and procedures
  • Develop positive working relationships with team members at every level within the organization to foster teamwork.
  • Identify, analyze, and solve problems
  • Be resourceful and take initiative in suggesting and executing various solutions for resolution
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making. Handle issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company
  • Easily adjust to new and changing situations and business needs
  • Assist in documentation of processes and procedures for international support

Qualifications

  • Candidate will have 3-5+ years industry, project management and sales experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry a must
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience preferred
  • Successful track record of setting & exceeding goals, managing projects on-time and on-budget
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and associated applications is required
  • Effective communication skills, with good written and verbal skills
  • Essential to possess strong time-management skills, organizational skills
  • Positive “Team Player” attitude
  • Candidate must have adequate and dependable transportation to travel to and from customer site
