Overview

Production support role focuses on creating labels and accurately closing orders for the assembly line as per customer order specification using ERP system. This role will also serve as backup support during the day to day functions within production as directed by plant manager.

Responsibilities

  • Create labels and accurately close orders
  • Adhere to plant safety policies and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Promote and comply with 6S workplace organization plan for the area
  • Adhere to the job rotation schedule posted in the area
  • Backfill for Team Lead as needed
  • Actively follow and participate in continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

  • Must have basic reading and math skills
  • GED or high school diploma (preferred)
  • Must be able to take and follow directions
  • Effective communication style that allows for cross-functional teamwork and a “get-it-done” attitude
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Must be able to work in exposure to temperatures according to the season
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Must be flexible and willing to cross train throughout production department
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Prior production/manufacturing experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift, push and or pull a maximum of 49lbs
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus (not required)
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • ERP/MRP knowledge is required
  • Must be able to stand throughout the workday
