Overview

The Healthcare Specialist Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in developing a designated territory concentrating on healthcare specific sales from: (i) Hospitals and (ii) Physician Practices, Surgery Center and various ancillary medical facilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and drive the specification and project through all purchasing channels until the order is secured
  • Communicate project activity in team strategy sessions
  • Train all healthcare purchasing decision makers on ergonomic workplace and clinical solutions
  • Work with healthcare team for targeted market specific accounts
  • Complete project activity and specification tracker reports and maintain up-to-date and complete customer profiles
  • Complete knowledge of the Humanscale product mix and application is required
  • Entertain clients as required
  • Effective oral presentation and written presentation skills are mandatory
  • Liaise and communicate with other Humanscale personnel to exceed sales goals
  • Participate in management and strategy meetings when required
  • Coordinate and execute regional marketing programs when required

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of business sales experience
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Successful track record of planning, execution and networking.
  • Ability for overnight travel 50%
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to do repetitive bending and stretching
  • Must have adequate transportation to travel to and from customer site 
  • Must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
  • Must be able to drive throughout the workday
