The Healthcare Quality Engineer is responsible for acting as an extension of the Quality Management System to ensure that all products and services are designed and produced in accordance with all established quality requirements while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. This goal is achieved through the successful accomplishment of the following responsibilities


Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Assist Healthcare Quality Manager to ensure and drive continuous improvement of Humanscale’s flagship product
  • Support the factory production line via material dispositions
  • Technical writing to create process maps for quality and production processes
  • Perform trend analyses to identify and eliminate recurring defects and non-conformances
  • Perform process validation to ensure that manufactured products meet established quality standards
  • Actively and openly communicate with both internal and external customers to establish and maintain positive business relationships
  • Effectively analyze product and process designs for the purpose of elimination of waste, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Direct, plan, and coordinate the details of test and inspection standards, methods, and procedures
  • Enforce compliance with all documented Quality Management System procedures and supporting processes
  • Implement and validate corrective actions
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned


Desired Characteristics

  • Minimum of two (2) years in a Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering role
  • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to self-start, work autonomously, and effectively multitask
  • Customer focused change agent with demonstrated sense of urgency
  • Creative problem solver who makes solid decisions driven by metrics
  • Strong desire to see tasks through to completion
  • Able to work in team environment to achieve desired results
  • Focused on self-development and continuous learning
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) Preferred
