Overview

Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external specialty customers.  Work closely with customers, sales representatives and the factory to ensure customer satisfaction.  Demonstrates ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues in difficult or complication situations.  Proactive approach to identify and resolve root cause to avoid future issues.  Works with 5-8 large retail accounts, provides administrative support to buyers, and interfaces with large e-commerce partners. 

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for Retail Sales
  • Supports Retail Sales Director and Retail Regional Sales Managers in the field
  • Provides basic customer service and support to retail network
  • Managing events for retail customers (summits, customer promotions, trade shows, etc.
  • Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy enforcement
  • International retail administration (assists in establishing retail presence in various new markets, retail programs, etc.)
  • Retail sales revenue/margin analytics
  • Administers email correspondence regarding new product introductions, changes to company policy, general sales information

  • Maintains a strong knowledge of all services, products, and pricing
  • Manages and updates e-commerce partner portals
    • Updates inventory
    • Updates pricing
    • Updates content
    • Updates sales (if applicable)
  • Tracks and reviews e-commerce partners inventory levels and product offering quarterly and communicates it to retail partners and designated territory sales representative
  • Partners with internal marketing and social media team to generate new content for retailer blog opportunities, social media outlets and shops, as well as the development of digital marketing campaigns when opportunity arises
  • Partners with the branding team for any collateral development and/or changes, all email templates should be through marketing, premium items (tradeshows, events) and any giveaways that fall under a marketing effort
  • Monitors internal system (Oracle/Infor) for errors or potential problems and work with retail partners to resolve issues when required
  • Regularly monitors partner e-commerce sites and check pricing, product offer and content
  • Generates reports, updates data systems
  • Quarterly email blasts and quarterly processing of Co-Ops

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years’ experience in retail or e-commerce administrative support or customer service desired
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of building rapport with customers and managers
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across functions
  • Articulate communicator (verbal and in writing)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of ORACLE/INFOR a plus
