Overview

This role will be reporting to the President of International Sales and a key member of the Global Management Team.

Responsibilities

  • Create a strategic plan to accelerate sales growth and brand awareness throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
  • Work with the marketing team to build brand awareness through digital media and sponsoring talks and events
  • Enhancing customer experience at our showroom
  • Drive media coverage
  • Liaise with Sales teams in North America, Europe and Asia to build on the global account program throughout MENA
  • Coordinate with the Sales training team to continue developing skills and knowledge base of Sales and Sales management
  • Works with Sales Operations to implement sales productivity tools and strategies including new CRM system,
  • Collaborate with HR to develop specific retention and talent development strategies
  • Partner with Product Management teams to develop product launch plans and strategies specific for the MENA region
  • Hold weekly MENA sales team meetings to ensure accountability to meeting sales targets, profitability, sales activity (prospecting), training on company messaging
  • Consistently monitor team sales activity, tracking results
  • Proven ability to create high performing teams and lead them to success across diverse functional teams
  • Powerful persuasion and influencing skills
  • Logical thinker that designs and follows efficient workflows and processes
  • Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis of projects or business plans

Leadership and Management:

  • Coach and direct Sales personnel located throughout MENA
  • Insure follow-on sales and penetration within existing customer accounts;
  • Build and manage strategy for key accounts;
  • Manage regional sales processes and set appropriate metrics
  • Execute sales activities with respect to the company’s marketing plan and practices

Qualifications

  • University business degree or equivalent;
  • 10 years of experience in a sales organization;

Leadership & Management:

  • 5-10 years of experience managing sales teams
  • Track record of performance excellence meeting or exceeding objectives and expectations
  • Expertise in complex sales and solutions selling.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities
  • Powerful interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with C-Level management
  • Team player able to navigate internal organization and leverage other teams in order to support regional sales plan and commitments to customers
  • Proficiency with CRM-based software tools, preferably with Salesforce.com
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated pro-activity, enthusiasm and self-directed abilities to thrive on challenges and fast growth
  • High level of integrity
  • Cultural sensitivity to the different business practices in each territory
  • Open to travel throughout the MENA region and further afield when required
