    Responsible for assisting in the organization’s cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial planning, reporting and analysis Strong emphasis on reporting and engaging with appropriate business units to reduce costs and to track actual expenses to planned expenses.   Additional responsibilities include financial planning process, monthly accounting cycle closure and assisting in external and internal audits.  Ability to work in dependently, implement systematic approach and be able to communicate effectively to upper management.


    • Determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
    • Analyzes data obtained and records results.
    • Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
    • Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
    • Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
    • Analyzes audits of costs and prepares reports.
    • Compiles cost information to be used in operating budget preparation.
    • Makes estimates of new and proposed product or service costs. Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts.
    • Develops and implements internal controls
    • Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
    • Enhances cost accounting framework
    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, or financial reporting.


      • Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting/Finance, Masters Degree and/or CPA a plus
      • At least 4 years of experience in accounting for a manufacturing organization
      • Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems: Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and ERP
      • Must have thorough knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, capital asset accounting, cost accounting and financial data analysis
      • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy requiring minimal supervision
      • Understanding of standard cost system and ability to analyze
      • Strong interpersonal team building and motivational skills
      • Ability to communicate or present information, both verbally and written, effectively with all levels of the organization
      • Strong analytical skills, able to understand complex data and issues
      • Experience coordinating across multiple functions
      • Able to analyze and grasp a situation quickly from different perspectives and create well reasoned solutions
      • Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
