    Overview

    The Sales Support Manager has organizational, procedural and some developmental responsibilities for administrative and sales support functions. This position will look for patterns and trends and provide administrative direction and coaching for the field. Additional tasks include process alignment, measurement and tracking of productivity and the coordination of training efforts to achieve maximum effectiveness. This position will work cross-functionally with order entry, manufacturing and accounts receivable to design, implement and execute support programs.

    Responsibilities

    Essential duties include the following (other duties may be assigned to meet business needs).

     

    • Define, document and implement improvements to day-to-day sales support.
    • Recommend training or coordinate the training of administrative processes to sales support personnel.
    • Lead best practice training for administrative roles.
    • Define and support performance measurement systems of the administrative team.
    • Work as an advocate to represent the designated sales and administrative positions.
    • Function as an internal communication source for corporate communications.
    • Effectively work with all departmental organizations to efficiently manage corporate change.
    • Lead and motivate team members; successfully execute initiatives, leads by example.
    • Identify, analyze and solve problems; take initiative in resolving issues.
    • Create and submit various monthly and weekly reports as requested.

    Qualifications

     

     

     

    • Candidate will have 1-2 years of Administrative experience.
    • Candidate will have 2-3 years of direct Management experience in an office setting.
    • High School Diploma; College Degree preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Quick learner and problem solver; able to seek out solutions autonomously
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
    • Proven ability to partner with others to accomplish goals
    • Ability to implement and manage change
    • Willingness to quickly learn advanced technologies and tools available in our industry.  

    COMPUTER SKILLS:

    Microsoft Office, including Excel/Word/Outlook (intermediate or advanced skills only); PowerPoint (Basic skills), Oracle and Visio knowledge a plus!
