    Overview

    The Global Sales Support Manager (GSSM) works closely with the Managing Director of Customer Service and Global Sales Director to ensure that Humanscale Global accounts receive special handling and Global support team members have the tools they need to do their jobs effectively.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Global Sales to ensure team performance is monitored and issues addressed
    • Share monthly support team performance reporting with Sales
    • Assess organizational performance, identify areas of opportunities, bring issues to the surface and define factors that can impede objectives, as well as assist in creating solutions to these areas
    • Ensure bonus and incentives are related to measured performance metrics to drive business objectives
    • Ensure all Global support team members understand Global policy, procedures, work flows, and best practices to achieve organizational goals
    • Ensure all Global support team members are aligned with their strengths
    • Regularly participation in Global sales meetings
    • Perform direct report reviews once a quarter and document results
    • Partner with Daily Ops to ensure escalated Global order issues are addressed appropriately
    • Partner with the Global Project Manager to understand large project and prepare the support team for upcoming orders
    • Define the path for growth within the Global Support team – career path

    Qualifications

    • Experience in related field of at least 2-3 years
    • Strong understanding of drivers for sales support and customer service satisfaction, process and quality, and functional office operations
    • A critical eye with the ability to see both the big picture as well as detail and nuances
    • Ability to engage and influence others
    • Excellent communication and strong inter-personal skills
