    We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as a Project Manager, Workplace Design leading our specification tools Project Matrix, CET Designer, and CAP 20/20. The successful applicant must possess experience with all three of these tools and how to navigate each of them. They will also have a proven ability to work in large and diverse teams, a willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment, and an outstanding work ethic.

    Responsibilities

    • Cross-functional leader working with Engineering, Marketing and Product Design teams to pull together information needed to maintain accurate records in all specification tools. Ensuring all specification tools are up to date and 100% accurate.
    • Maintain strong relationships with each of our spec tool partners.
    • Train our dealer partners and internal staff in navigating and maximizing use of specification tools
    • Drive team debate/discussion around key issues that determine spec tool quality and function
    • Maintain knowledge and understanding of the commercial furniture market and how dealers work. 

    Qualifications

    Workplace Design Manager should have a strong background and proven track record in highly-regulated technical specification tools.  They should have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence teams across functions through their prior experience.  In addition, they should have a good understanding of the business in order to make intelligent, business driven tradeoff decisions.

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in architecture or interior design
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in architectural or interior design
    • Understanding of AutoCAD, CAP 20/20, Project Matrix, and CET Designer is a must

     

    • Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences through various media, including;
      • Clear and concise language
      • Digital image manipulation
      • Clear and professional emails
