    Manage day to day activities of various Inspections; incoming, in- process and returns, and their disposition activities. Account for inventory accuracy and flow of material through Quality department. Provide performance metrics to managers and be subject matter expert for Quality modules in ERP system. This position will require that all processes set in place are controlled and consistent while holding team members accountable.


    • Manage Incoming inspection activity by prioritizing workload and ensure set procedures are followed to release material in a timely manner and meet production needs.
    • Support MRB meeting for dispositioning of material and escalate dispositioning of aging material under quality inventory locations.
    • Work with receiving team, Inventory teams and warehouse teams to efficiently manage non-conforming and inspection material flow within quality department.
    • Lead efforts to provide investigation results to Quality Engineers/ Product Engineers for returns that are related to Product failure or Supplier Quality issues.
    • Ensures that all Returns receiving and processing goals are met by ensuring that team has the necessary staff and materials required to achieve daily goals. Ability to effectively supervise team members and provide direction on disposition of material and ensure inventory transaction reflects actual material flow.
    • Work closely with the Sales Support teams, Order Management team, Production Manager, Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain and Engineering departments for resolving backlogs and disposition customer returns in a timely manner.
    • In-process inspection and end of line inspection of finished products to ensure all cosmetic and functional standards of outgoing product is met.
    • Execute calibration testing procedures for all equipment that require periodic calibration.
    • Complete daily check list of critical operations, equipment calibration and in process inspection duties on the production line.
    • Work with production supervisors and focus process quality groups to correct customer complaints and in-process inspection failures related to process errors.
    • Actively participate in meetings, inter/intra departmentally to engage in corrective actions effectiveness check, failure analysis and other functions as related to quality functions in area of responsibility.
    • Monitor productivity of department and provide manager performance metrics of group as it relates to safety, productivity and processing time efficiencies.
    • Perform monthly cycle counts in areas of responsibilities to ensure there are no inventory discrepancies.
    • Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment.
    • Support implementation of corporate Lean initiatives. Continuously maintain area of responsibility in an organized manner.
    • Actively demonstrate a commitment for meeting internal and external customers’ needs.


    • Supervisor experience of minimum of 2-3 years in a manufacturing/ quality role.
    • Proven abilities to manage multiple priorities and multitask
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Lean Manufacturing Principles Experience a plus
    • Oracle or INFOR knowledge a plus
    • Strong organizational and decision making skills
    • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
