  • Overview

    Contract Specialist assists in managing contract administration and compliance process for all sales agreements and preparation and submission of RFPs/Bids/Proposals. Will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and timely execution of all contracts and proposals. 


    • Assist in the preparation of all proposals and contracts for compliance and administration elements, both government and commercial business.
    • Work with Account Set-up and Pricing team and Sr. Government Specialist to ensure discounts are compliant with our GSA Schedule.
    • Functions include day-to-day compliance, process improvement and contract development.
    • Contract analysis, track sales for global accounts to monitor and calculate rebates.
    • Assist in providing support and solutions in contract related matters for both internal and external customers.
    • Draft Agreements, extensions, amendments with customers.
    • Negotiate agreement terms with customers.
    • Liaise with several internal departments, Pricing/Account Set-up team, Credit Department, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Accounts Payable, IT and Sales.
    • Provide support for development and continued improvement of Humanscale Compliance Program.


    • 5 - 7 years’ experience preferred.
    • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with high level executives.
    • Highly organized.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with GSA schedule compliance requirements, including required disclosures for modifications, renewal, and new proposals, as well as the Price Reductions clause, standard socio-economic provisions of government contracts, including the Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action, and Sub-contracting provisions a plus.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL and WORD, with working knowledge of Power Point and Oracle.
