Overview

Humanscale Consulting is seeking a qualified certified ergonomist for an exciting opportunity to support a large global client headquartered in Summit, New Jersey.

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all currently offered consulting services including but not limited to:
  1. Ergonomics trainings, onsite and remote assessments, audits, and job safety analyses in office, laboratory, and industrial environments
  2. Customized trainings as needed
  3. Project work as needed
  • Complete onsite data collection and detailed analyses
  • Produce technical reports in a proficient and timely manner
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner and problem solver; able to seek out solutions autonomously
  • Able to decipher ambiguous situations and identify the proper path
  • Effective decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to implement and manage change
  • Must be able to proactively identify program gaps and propose viable solutions
  • Evidence of strong client relationships

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s degree in Human Factors/Ergonomics or related field
  • Ergonomics certification (AEP, CPE) required
  • Strong background in industrial and laboratory ergonomics
  • 5+ years’ experience as a practicing ergonomist
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the commercial furniture industry
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the biotechnology industry a plus

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite a plus
