Overview

In the function of Account Manager Netherlands your main focus is to promote our ergonomic solutions primarily at office furniture resellers and end-users and secondly work on influencers such as facility managers, workplace strategists and property managers.

 

With your persuasive, professional advices you ensure that they prefer the solutions of Humanscale. Customers are regularly and strategically visited and you will support them on projects in the field. In addition, you assist on marketing activities and represent Humanscale on national and international trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Present the Humanscale solutions at the named target groups and develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Humanscale product lines
  • Provide expertise on ergonomic principles and concepts
  • Conduct basic ergonomics training at Humanscale client sites
  • Assemble client proposals for Humanscale products and services
  • Attend trade shows, assist with research initiatives and network with the office furniture, facility managers, workplace strategists and property managers
  • Participate in Humanscale University training initiatives
  • Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goals
  • Complete sales activity and opportunity reports as well as maintain a customer contact database

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Economy, Marketing or related fields
  • Extensive experience in and knowledge of the office furniture industry
  • Successful track record of planning and execution
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and associated applications
  • Knowledge and interest in (interior) architecture, design and art is a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Excellent follow-up and closing skills
  • Ability to travel
