Overview

The Sales Associate position is a junior sales role responsible for supporting installations, trainings and up-sell opportunities for a sales territory. The Sales Associate is a field training opportunity for promotion into an ADR position locally or nationally. Sales bonus tied to remote office revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of all of Humanscale products and ergonomic fundamentals
  • Ability to assess end-users furniture and technology to specify appropriate configuration of solutions
  • Order and manage sample inventory, receive, deliver, and install at client location and educate end user on proper use
  • Manage project installations and train dealer installers and end-user facilities teams on proper installation techniques and functionality
  • Small account development resulting in 3 additional demos/installations per week
  • Key account development and support (Higher Ed, Healthcare, Local/State Gov.)
  • Completing of any sales order paperwork, warranty and general customer service and follow-up
  • Completing sales activity/ opportunity reports and maintaining customer contact database
  • Manage dealer spiff program
  • Effectively work with other Humanscale, A&D, Dealer and End-user personnel
  • As needed set up post sale end-user appointments working with ADR on recently closed business

Qualifications

  • Candidate will have 1-2+ years business sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferred
  • Successful track record of setting and exceeding goals
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and associated applications are required
  • Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry, a plus
  • Good written and verbal skills
