Overview

Line Stagers have the responsibility of accurately obtaining products from the decartonization / dock areas and bringing them to the line upon request. Line Stagers are responsible for ensuring the lines have adequate materials to achieve daily production goals.  

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory movement when staging products on production lines.
  • Constantly monitor racks in the assembly area and effectively supply assigned lines with adequate materials for production.
  • Dispose of packaging material in accordance with the company guidelines
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Adhere to the job rotation schedule posted in the area.
  • Conduct audits and inspections on production parts.
  • Accurately and promptly report safety issues to line lead.
  • Prepare and stage materials for ready to use on the assembly line (i.e. de-carton, etc.)
  • Actively follow and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Perform other duties across the plant as needed and directed by management

Qualifications

  • GED or high school diploma preferred.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in production/manufacture environment preferred
  • Able to work in exposure to temperatures according to the season.
  • The ability to take and follow directions accurately.
  • Willingness and flexibility to cross-train throughout entire production department.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivated.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a maximum of 49lbs.
  • Must be able to use equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout the workday.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus (not required).
