Overview

Humanscale offers our Inside Sales Associates the opportunity to educate clients on the science behind ergonomics while re-establishing engagement with existing customers, growing new accounts, and most importantly, being financially rewarded.  This is more than a sales job. Our award-winning ergonomic products change the way people work. You will primarily target end-user accounts and select contract furniture dealerships.  Maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving sales revenue is your primary goal, and you will spend much of your time responding to inquiries, helping with issues, and providing updates on requests while looking for new sales opportunities. Humanscale focuses on innovation, sustainability, and design, allowing our team members to promote premier products that improve health, support movement, and change lives – one workstation at a time.

*We require the Sales Associate to be in the Humanscale office full time (5 days/week) *

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for educating, marketing, and selling the value of ergonomic workplace solutions to end-users and contract furniture dealers.
  • Develop the business plan with the supervisor for weekly, monthly, and quarterly strategic sales objectives.
  • Maintain the appropriate levels of sales activities – prospecting (phone calls and e-mail outreach), conducting sales meetings, uncovering new opportunities, and closing sales.
  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Facilitate virtual presentations for prospective clients and commercial furniture dealerships.
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions on ergonomics and Humanscale products to end-users and commercial furniture dealer sales reps.
  • Lead strategic business and forecasting discussions with commercial furniture dealer principles to meet dealer sales goals, establish new accounts and grow existing customer sales.
  • Use Humanscale’s CRM system to track leads, complete sales activities, develop opportunity reports, and provide accurate monthly sales forecasts to the sales management teams.
  • Set up product tests or demonstrate proposed solutions for potential customers.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer care team and the customer on shipment and quality matters.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all Humanscale’s products and consulting services, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, CPU holders and other ergonomic work tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Desire to develop a career in sales.
  • Candidate will have 0- 2 years of inside sales or customer service experience.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • A working knowledge of MS Office is required.
  • Great written, verbal and presentation skills.

Compensation Package:

Salary - $50,000

Annual Bonus Potential - $12,000.00 (paid at $1,000.00 per month at 100% of goal)
