Overview

Supports Product Engineers who maintain Humanscale products that are in production. Assists with maintenance of technical drawings, develops cost improvements, and provides technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the documentation and implementation of Engineering Changes to new and existing products.
  • Assists with implementation of opportunities for cost reductions.
  • Ensure the manufacturability of new and existing products by participating in the product design and development process.
  • Provide technical support.
  • Design efficient product packaging and packaging methods
  • Design customized solutions of an existing product to meet customers’ request.

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's program in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to use 3D CAD modeling software (ie. Solidworks)
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with the ability to communicate engineering concepts to non-engineers.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to do repetitive bending and stretching.
