Overview

At Humanscale, we recognize that the materials surrounding us can have profound consequences on both human and ecological wellbeing. As a leading manufacturer of durable goods, we’re driven by the responsibility—and incredible opportunity—to rethink the way materials are specified. Each material decision represents a chance to shape a future where longevity, beauty, and stewardship are non-negotiable.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Sustainability and Design teams to enhance and maintain our Product Development Material Database, on-site Library, and sustainability production data. These tools empower interdisciplinary innovation and will be used to calculate the Life Cycle impacts for a specific market. You will support the curation of healthy, high-quality, low-impact materials that elevate human experience, endure over time, and are crafted by forward-thinking partners who share our commitment to social and environmental leadership. This is a unique chance to influence the next generation of Humanscale products.

  • Work side-by-side with Sustainability and Design experts on exciting initiatives that advance Humanscale’s mission.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Ecology, or a related field.
