Overview

The Sales Manager, Beijing, is responsible for driving sales growth from key accounts and partners within the Beijing territory, while leading and developing a small sales team. This role requires balancing individual sales performance with team leadership, ensuring revenue targets, profitability, and product mix goals are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a proven ability to educate clients on ergonomic solutions and close complex sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Full-spectrum sales and business development activities across assigned territories and accounts.
  • Cultivate, coach, and develop a small sales team, including creating and maintaining individual development plans.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and product mix goals for ergonomic workplace solutions.
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 sales appointments per week, maintaining consistently high sales activity.
  • Develop and execute a detailed business plan aligned with weekly, monthly, and quarterly strategic objectives.
  • Train, educate, and market the value of ergonomic workplace solutions to partners, key accounts, and end users.
  • Lead product tests, demonstrations, and client presentations as needed.
  • Accurately complete CRM updates, sales reports, order paperwork, and maintain customer contact records.
  • Liaise between customer service and clients on shipment and quality matters.
  • Facilitate partner and key account training on ergonomics and Humanscale products.
  • Lead strategic business discussions and forecasting with partner and key account leaders.
  • Foster strong relationships with end-users to drive solution education and adoption.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, booking, and invoicing reports on a biweekly basis.
  • Collaborate effectively across internal teams (A&D, Corporate, BDM) to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Deliver year-over-year revenue growth from assigned partners and key accounts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business sales experience, preferably within the partner or dealer sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional sales experience (preferred).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proven track record of sales planning and execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel overnight within the region as required.

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in the office furniture or related industry (a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities.
  • Self-driven with aggressive follow-up and deal-closing skills.
