Manufacturing Engineering Intern

• Support continuous improvement of products and processes using appropriate Lean and problem-solving techniques.
• Actively participate in the analysis of product defects/customer returns.
• Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and output.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Write assembly instructions for production lines.
• Assist operations engineers with key initiatives and priority improvement projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum two (2) years into Mechanical, Industrial, or Packaging Engineering curriculum.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with any CAD software (SolidWorks a plus)
• Computer programming skills a plus
• This internship is an onsite role based in Piscataway, NJ

Hourly Rate: $22.00/hour
